2025 Election Notice
Public notice is hereby given to inform residents of South Weber City that there will be a municipal general election on November 4, 2025 for the following offices:
Two At-Large City Council positions (4-year term) Mayor (4-year term)
If a primary election is needed, it will be held on August 12, 2025.
The constitutional and statutory qualification requirements for municipal office are:
- The person is a registered voter in the municipality.
- The person will be at least 18 years old at the time of the next election.
- The person is a legal resident of the municipality for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
- The person has not been convicted of a felony.
Interested parties may declare their candidacy for an office in person between June 2 and June 6 at City Hall with the City Recorder located at 1600 E. South Weber Dr., between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. You may read and/or prepare the forms ahead but DO NOT SIGN them. (Plan on spending around 30 minutes.)
Qualifications for persons to vote in the election may be found in UCA 20A-2.
