September 11: Day of Service
Each year on September 11, we pause to remember the tragic events of 9/11 and honor the lives lost, the heroes who served, and the resilience that brought our nation together. Thanks to the unwavering support from countless individuals within the 9/11 community, September 11 has been transformed into the largest day of service in America. A day officially recognized under federal law. Each year, more than 30 million Americans and others around the world dedicate their time on this day to assist those in need, reigniting the spirit of unity that brought our nation together.
South Weber City is proud to participate on this Day of Service. Below is a list of projects within the city. We have organized them based on priority. If you are interested in any of these projects, please contact our Parks Manager, Chay at 801-479-3177 ext. 2217 for more details. The projects do not all need to be completed on September 11, as this day serves as a reminder of the power of service and compassion in our community.
DEADLINE: If you are interested, you MUST call by Wednesday, September 3, 2025 @ 5pm.
Your contribution to any of these projects will be greatly appreciated!
